The Susan G. Komen Foundation has a mission to eradicate breast cancer by advancing research, education, screening, and treatment. I have been blessed to participate for 12 years in the Race for the Cure in Newport Beach, California in honor of the sisters I lost and those who survived this dreadful disease. |

AMERICAN LUNG ASSOCIATION OF CALIF
I have presented the Asthma and Exercise for Children Program to Orange County schools and organizations. I teach about how important exercise is for Asthmatic children and adults. The Asthma Walks that are held annually around the country bring awareness to the disease and raise funds for needed research and education. I support the Orange County walk. |

This disease is epidemic. It is present in my family which makes it personal to me. Approximately 17 million people in the United States have diabetes. Because of the obesity epidemic, now children are getting the Adult Type II diabetes. |
